13 Reasons Why

13 Reasons Why

We’ve all been shaken by recent events at Farragut High School.  Our hearts ache for the parents and also for friends, relatives, classmates, teachers, and administrators.  As we struggle to cope with that pain, local social media is filled with discussion of the show “13 Reasons.”  Many of us are sorting out our response and struggling to know how to best help our children.

The resource to the left is the best response I’ve seen so far.  I recommend it as a starting place for this discussion.

I hope you’ll reach out to us if you’re willing to volunteer.  We always need empathetic and compassionate volunteers to work on the National Suicide Lifeline and our local crisis line.
